Sexual Abuse Intervention Program
Professional counselling for young people under 19 years of age who have been sexually abused, are exposed to the risk, or children under 12 with sexual behaviour problems.

Housing Programs
The Housing Outreach Program
The Housing Outreach Program (HOP) supports individuals and families with finding safe and affordable housing, post move-in follow-up, income support, and ID replacement.
We help clients in their search for safe and affordable housing;
- Assists clients with filling out rental applications;
- Provides support in filling out income applications (Income Assistance, Old Age Security, and Canada Pension Plan);
- Informs clients about their rights and responsibilities as tenants; and,
- Provides referrals to appropriate community agencies (counselling, etc.).
HOP can provide subsidies based on need for the purpose of:
- Buying food;
- Identification needs; and,
- Partial rent payments for people living in rooming homes (renting a room, room and board).

Please note: People living in subsidized housing (BC Housing and M’akola Housing) or receiving other forms of provincial rental assistance (Rental Assistance Program and SAFER) are not eligible for RARP/HOP subsidies.
Renters at Risk Program
(formerly the Homeless Prevention Program)
The Renters at Risk Program (RARP) works to prevent housing loss by providing support to individuals and families living in private market rentals.
Services include disbursing rental subsidies, advocating on behalf of clients and providing referrals to other services.
RARP can provide subsidies based on need for the purpose of:
- Paying a portion of rent
- Damage deposits
- Partial hydro/gas payments if a disconnection notice has been issued
To qualify, household income must be below limits set by BC Housing. Individuals must provide proof of income (bank statements) and other documents to confirm eligibility.
RARP subsidies cannot be used for any costs unrelated to housing (food, clothing, telephone bill, etc.). All Cheques are made out to landlords or agencies receiving payment.
